"Blue Day" Petition Update On MAX 104.9 FM

A Bathurst anti-bullying activist has a couple New Brunswick Members of Parliament on board in the fight against violence.

Robbie Frenette is on a team circulating petitions across the country in an effort to establish an annual national daya of awareness in Canada—Blue Day, December 17th
Frenette says MP's Yvon Godin and Mike Allen will hopefully create momentum in Ottawa when the petitions are presented.
They have about 5-thousand signatures from people coast to coast.

Two New Brunswick Members of Parliament are bringing a message to Parliament Hill echoing the concerns of a Bathurst Anti-bullying activist.
Robbie Frenette is part of a team circulating petitions around the country to mark December 17th as "Blue Day."
He says the annual event would help raise awareness of bullying.
Frennette says they're gaining momentum in the meantime.
New Brunswick MP's Yvon Godin and Mike Allen are presenting petitions with close to 5-thousand names at the country's capital.
