Woodstock, NB Mayor Art Slipp Speaks To MAX 104.9 FM Regarding "Blue Day"

The Mayor of Woodstock is giving a Bathurst native a shot in the arm for standing up for people who can't protect themselves.

Mayor Arthur Slip says college student Robbie Frennette is a hero among his peers for his anti-bullying efforts.

Slip says Frennette inspired people of all ages at a rally drumming up support for National Blue Day.

Slipp says he was impressed when the 19 year old approached the town for municipal support in marking December 17th as a national day to acknowledging the people working to curb bullying.
The town agreed and is continuing to look at ways to alleviate violence in the community.
