Anti-Bullying Charity Concerned With Files Handed Over With NB Power Right To Information Request

FREDERICTON, NEW BRUNSWICK-
A national anti-bullying charitable organization is concerned with the response it received from NB Power following a Right to Information request.
"BullyingCanada submitted a Right to Information Request in order to try and shed light on the way the Crowne Corporation was going about addressing the allegations of Workplace Bullying that BullyingCanada were received complaints about.
The following points are highlights of the information that we've
received:

"This press release is inappropriate and inaccurate" - (Release issued in Dec, about how we felt that NB Power was not addressing the Workplace bullying allegations)
. Former Minister of Energy Craig Leonard:
"Send me a briefing,- I will have to explain the situation to the Premier"
. Brian Staeben, Communications Director, Dept. of Energy:
"Folks too late, he already sent this release to all PC and Liberal MLAs, it's out there now and damage control time it is, I don't have a strategy to suggest right now"
. NB Power President Gaëtan Thomas: ". They are not reasonable and what
attention"
. Mr. Thomas informed NB Power Board Members of the situation
. Mr. Thomas to former Minister of Engergy: "Here is the briefing note
you requested, I will look at options on Monday to see if we can find someone reasonable in that organization and insist they withdraw this very unfair characterization of our organization"
. Lori Clark to Kathleen Dugay and Carole Volpe - "Do not meet with him
alone"
. Robert Scott - "Brian Kenny introduced Rob a few minutes ago as
someone in the Gallery of the House!" Don't know if that means anything."
. Robert Scott - "Brian Kenny just asked whether or not the Gov't will
undertake to have an independent confidential survey done on bullying at NB Power!" Lori Clark replied with: "I told Rob Frenette that we did not think we would at this time"
BullyingCanada is also able to make the entire Right to Information Request public / available to the media upon request.
BullyingCanada submitted a second Right to Information Request seeking any files form NB Power with mention of the name Rob Frenette or BullyingCanada, that request was declined and is currently being appealed to the office of the Access to Information and Privacy Commissioner for review.
